Revamping in the works…
Flying Squid Studios is revamping with all new cartoons coming soon!
Flying Squid Studios is revamping with all new cartoons coming soon!
From a series of cartoons I did for PBS some years ago. Go to Flying Squid Studios’ YouTube Page to see more.
Here’s the very belatedly posted part 2 of Flash Gordon.
Daniel was interviewed by Scott Simon for NPR’s Weekend Edition last Saturday. Take a listen here!
To promote the Sci-Fi Channels upcoming Flash Gordon series, I’ve been commissioned to create a couple redubs of the old Flash Gordon serials from the 30s. Of course, being a lover of evil, I decided to focus things on Ming.
And so they have written an article partially about the Skeletor Show and Flying Squid! There’s also a picture of some big bald guy who appears to have captured Beast-Man!
The fact is, I simply cannot afford to do the show right now because I have way too many paid projects going on. I am trying to find time to work on it here and there, but it will take a long time. I just can’t devote a lot of time to the one project I’m not getting paid for. As for what I am getting paid for, among other things-
I will be at Archcon in St. Louis from August 2-5, presenting my work and also the new Blake’s 7 radio dramas which I’m acting in along with a lot of cool Dr. Who people and the guy who was Pinhead from Hellraiser! How awesome is that? I will also be at a table selling CDs from the drama, but also promoting my own cartoons and videos by selling a very lovely flat, rectangular Flying Squid Studios-labeled plastic box for $10 which just might have a special free gift inside that any fan of Flying Squid videos will definitely appreciate.
I’m also doing videos for Heavy.com, some of which are on the site now and others which are in development. Several other shows for other sites are in development too.
I haven’t forgotten Skeletor. He’s threatening to kill me again if I don’t do a show soon and after he killed me the last time, I’ve stopped being so keen on the idea of the great beyond. Also, I want to put a special guest star in the show and I need to find one damn it. If any of you famous celebrity fans of mine (yeah, right) want to be a guest voice on the Skeletor Show, send me an e-mail. I’m right here in L.A. so you wouldn’t have to go far and I’d be all like, ‘hell yeah’ and you’d be all like, ‘cool, yo’ and I’d be all like, ‘k’ and you’d be all like, ‘k’ and then we’d do it and that would be totally pipe*.
So… when’s the next Skeletor show? Hell if I know. When I say ’soon’ I’m speaking in geologic time.
